Take Drivers Education in Alaska

A) Enroll in a Drivers Ed Program

Prepare for the learner’s permit written test by taking drivers education. Although the state doesn’t require drivers ed course completion to be eligible for a learners permit, it’s a great way to learn about the Alaska traffic laws, road signs and safe-driving practices covered on the permit test.

B) Study the Alaska Driver Manual

Download the Alaska Driver Manual from the state site, and study it thoroughly along with your drivers ed course material. That way you will be prepared to pass the DMV permit test the first time around.
