Prepare for Written Test in New Hampshire

New Hampshire does not issue any sort of learner’s permits, but you should still spend ample time preparing for the written license exam. In addition to reviewing your driver ed course material (if applicable), you should also take some online practice tests and thoroughly study the New Hampshire Driver’s Manual.

A) Ace a Few DMV Practice Tests

When applying for an instruction permit, you must pass a knowledge test at a New Hampshire DMV office. Before you apply, prepare for the exam by taking multiple online practice permit tests. Sample test questions cover topics you’ll find on the actual NH written knowledge exam.

B) Study the New Hampshire Driver’s Manual

In addition to passing some practice tests, thoroughly study the New Hampshire Driver’s Manual until you feel prepared enough to breeze through the actual Division of Motor Vehicles written knowledge test.
