    • Payment for all applicable fees

    Intermediate Permit

    C) Take the Road Test

Arrive at the test site with plenty of time prior to your scheduled appointment with a properly registered and insured vehicle. The vehicle must have working brake lights, turn signals and car horn, and the windshield must be free of vision-obstructing cracks.

The driver license examiner, at his or her discretion, may waive the test if you provide a certificate of completion card from a state-approved driver education course.

    D) Get Your Wyoming Driver's License

    Full Restricted License

You will receive a full restricted license after passing the road test. While carrying this license you must adhere to the following restrictions:

    • Drive only between the hours of 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Drive only within 50 miles (radius) of your home

This license will be automatically suspended if you're caught violating either restriction, or if convicted of a moving violation.

    Intermediate Permit

Pass the road test and you'll receive an intermediate permit. With this permit you must obey the following driving restrictions:

    • Drive only between the hours of 5 a.m. and 11 p.m.
    • You cannot drive with more than 1 passenger under 18 years old who is not from your immediate family

Restrictions may be lifted for school, work or medical needs, PROVIDED you're carrying a properly signed Intermediate Permit Driving Exception Form (Form FSGDL-02).

    Full License

Once you graduate to a full driver's license, you will not have any driving restrictions.
